6. COMPETITION CLASSREQUIREMENTSSPECIAL NOTE: For the 2010 season, HPV and KPP motors may use any combination of components that are HPV or KPP. After the 2010 season, all components will be subject to current WKA specifications. 6.1 Briggs Sportsman 6.1.1 Age 6.1.2 Engines/Fuel/Weight Gas only or Methanol Alcohol Only 200 lbs. (kart and driver) Briggs & Stratton 5HP 6.1.3 Miscellaneous Briggs & Stratton Animal (restricted) with a restrictor plate with a top hole 0.235 and a bottom hole of 0.275 (Purple) (See Rule 7.2.7.). Briggs & Stratton motor requirements per Box Stock rules (See “Box Stock 4-Cycle Defined” – Rule 7.2.5). 6.2 Yamaha Sportsman YBX 6.2.1 Age 6.2.2 Engines/Fuel/Weight Gas and Oil 200 lbs. (kart and driver) 6.2.3 Miscellaneous Must use RLV-YBX stock box muffler only. YBX box muffler must be original unaltered RLV-YBX 3 Hole Can.
6.3.1 Age 6.3.2 Engines/Fuel/Weight Gas and Oil 250 lbs. (kart and driver) 6.3.3 Miscellaneous Must use RLV-SSX stock box muffler only. SSX box muffler must be original unaltered RLV-SSX part #7548 (the can with four outlet holes spaced 90 degrees to each other) or part #7543 (the can with the four outlet holes evenly spaced between the 12 and 3 o’clock positions).
