Junior Summer Series Sponsors Wanted

The 2014 Junior Summer Series will begin this year on June 15th and run through August 24th on all of the regular scheduled Bader Kart Club races held at Dousman. The Junior Summer Series is designed to give Badger’s junior racers a chance at special prizes and recognition at the Badger Kart Club's annual year end banquet. Badger Kart Club is looking for sponsors for the Junior Summer Series. For $100, sponsors get their name on Junior Summer Series t-shirts, banner, and are listed on the Awards Banquet program. For more information, check our Junior Summer Series page or contact Lori Maas at catch22motorsports@gmail.com or 414-405-7494.  All proceeds from sponsorship are used for prize packages all drivers receive at the Awards Banquet.  Also, don't forget that it's never too early to register for the Junior Summer Series! Registration forms can be found on the Junior Summer Series page.

Garage Project News - Update 3/22

Update 3/22 -The Board of Directors has approved the construction of the project and we will begin ordering materials. We hope to have the building constructed in May. Construction help is still needed. The final location for the project is the north west corner of the paddock, in the area across from the ambulance gate and scoring tower. The project will be a 20 unit building, only 4 spaces are left. You can continue to submit deposits to Sandy Mitz. Registrations in excess of the amount of units built will be placed on a waiting list for the next available space. The proposed location will not provide direct grid access, and rental prices are $1,000 per year for a space and $1,250 for a vendor space. For more information, check out this flyer. A $350 deposit reserves your space. You can also contact Sandy Mitz by e-mail at smitz@mrsc.com with questions. Vendors/contractors/volunteers wanted - if you are interested in bidding on the project or sponsoring part of the project, or if you can help in its construction, please contact Sandy Mitz by e-mail at smitz@mrsc.com.

Driver Development Clinic

We have an incredible opportunity to bring professional driver/Indy Car driver Jay Howard to Briggs & Stratton Raceway Park for a driver clinic. For the several years, Jay has been working with cadet drivers to shifter drivers with amazing results. At this time, we are trying to determine how many people would be interested in this opportunity. Jay will complete track walks with the group, discuss correct entry-exit of each corner, review braking and passing principles, and critique each participant's driving through several practice sessions. The clinic will be a one day class at a cost of $75 per participant. This price may vary slightly based on class sizes.

If interested please contact Kregg at:kregg1012@gmail.com.
